The hardest question for me was whether AI should be allowed to use publicly available creative work without directly asking the creator for permission. It was difficult because I understand that AI systems need large amounts of data to learn, but I also think artists and designers should have some control over how their work is used. The line between something being publicly visible and actually giving consent to use it is not always clear.
