The statement I found most difficult to answer was about economic concentration: whether having most creative AI tools controlled by a few large companies is a bigger threat to creative freedom than individual ethical concerns about AI. I found this difficult because I can see both sides. Individual issues like bias, copyright, privacy, and the use of artists’ work without consent feel very immediate and personal. At the same time, if only a few companies control the most powerful AI tools, they also have a lot of influence over what creators can access, how much it costs, and even what kinds of creative work the technology encourages. I ultimately leaned toward agreeing because this concentration of power could shape the entire creative industry over time, but I do not think it makes the other ethical concerns less important.
