Informed Consent AI tools can be used to create lots of good in the world. But they can also be used to cause harm just as easily. This is why I think it's important for there to be Informed Consent when using AI tools. I think people need to be more aware of what they are getting themselves into, and I think that informed consent is a good way of going about it. Sustainability AI tools need to process large amounts of information in a short amount of time. As a byproduct, AI tool companies use a lot of fossil fuel-generated electricity to run the large amounts of high-powered computers in their data centers, which need to be cooled. They do this by using large amounts of water, and as you can imagine, this is not good for the environment. If this problem is not mitigated, it will cause more problems for the environment. There is also a lot of useless content being credited by AI, which is using up a lot of processing power and, in turn, resources. Responsible Development AI tools are powerful and can be used to cause a lot of harm, and there is a lot of unfettered access to AI tools that need to be mitigated. I think this is needed to help stop the use of AI for nefarious purposes, and or create something that can’t be controlled.
