Data privacy, employment, and responsible development are the three topics that stood out the most to me. The reason I chose data privacy was because this is already such a prominent issue, with deliberate ux designs that make it more troublesome for people to read the terms and agreements, cookie usage, permissions, many grant it without thinking much, and the ones that try to go through reading become tired as every website now have a longwinded route to deny permissions. Additionally, with new software updates, for example Apple Intelligence was activated automatically, and it does not inform the user which is very alarming. So is location sharing on instagram, for example. I also chose employment because as a designer in the creative field, there are increasing fields that are taken over by Ai, not just in design, modeling work for example, the new AI actress, computer science, etc. Lastly, responsible development. AI is not going to suddenly disappear, but it is the next step to the tech revolution. Instead of boycotting what is already made and integrated in our lives, its better to focus on responsible guidelines and strict restrictions to guide it on the right path.
