AI in creative spaces cannot overlook age restriction and age appropriateness. While authenticity, inclusivity, and sustainability are crucial, the most vulnerable group is children, whose minds are still forming. If AI tools are freely accessible to those under 15, they risk absorbing biased political, cultural, or social content without the maturity to process it. More importantly, when it comes to creativity, children should not lean on algorithms to generate ideas, because their developing minds are still untouched by the creative roadblocks adults face. They need to discover their own imagination, experiment with raw thought, and build confidence in their unique creative potential before AI becomes a supportive tool. For that reason, AI must develop strict age-sensitive safeguards and child-specific content paths, ensuring that younger users are protected from premature exposure while still allowing space for their authentic, self-driven imaginative growth.
